About Inspire Retreats

Helping you expand and achieve greatness

Hey, I’m Jon. For the last 8+ years I have built a life around travel, freedom, and personal growth. I run the Global Viewpoint travel blog and have visited 73 countries chasing landscapes, stories, and experiences that actually change you.

At some point, regular travel stopped being enough. I wanted depth. Community. Real shifts that lasted longer than a flight home. That is where retreats came in.

Why retreats

After 8 years, 73 countries, and a lifetime of adventure, I have attended and facilitated 20+ transformational retreats around the world, focused on wellness, spirituality, personal development, and business mindset.

Since 2021, I have invested over $100,000 of my own money into personal development: retreats, coaching, books, and courses. No sponsors. Just my own skin in the game. Travel is richer because of it. Every trip has a layer of inner work, not just sightseeing.

What I bring to Inspire Retreats

I come from two worlds that do not often meet.

On one side, I am a global traveler and creator who knows how to find special places. Mountain towns. Sacred valleys. Off the radar spots that wake something up in you.

On the other side, I am a retreat participant, co-facilitator, and consultant. I have seen what works and what falls flat: the schedule that burns people out, the circle that changes someone’s life, the small details that make a group feel safe. Inspire Retreats is where those worlds meet.

Alongside the retreats, I also build Alps by Design, a trip-planning resource for the Alps, from the Dolomites to the Swiss valleys.

How I work with you

I do three main things here:

What I believe

If you feel like you are “doing fine” on paper but know there is more in you, you are in the right place.

Your next step

If you want to join a retreat, start with the upcoming retreats and see what calls you. If you want to host or improve a retreat, reach out and tell me what you are building.

Remember who you are

My job is simple: create and recommend experiences that help you remember who you are, then give you the tools to live from that place when you get home.
